A partially buried civic cultural building focused on family fun and education will contain exhibition galleries for artists as well as a botanical garden and bird sanctuary; while an arena – a modern amphitheatre built into the landscape – will hold movies, and music concerts for audiences of up to a thousand.
A community centre and restaurant complex set in terraced fashion into the sloping rear wall of the park will provide a variety of eating choices and entertainment venues to visitors. The Canals
The canals will be a unique site attraction for SHAMS Abu Dhabi and the 4kms of canalside paths will be an important element in the pedestrian network.
